Selling services online doesn’t seem that difficult at first, until you start going through the entire process. You have to manage content, set up pricing, notify users when orders are made, retarget those users, and much more. Some services allow you to sell services online, but it’s not too often you stumble upon one that covers every step of the customer lifecycle.

However, a service called Blackbellย might have changed that. It’s a wonderful platform with powerful tools for collecting payments, chatting with users, accepting reviews, and more. In this Blackwell review, we’ll talk about the best features, explore the affordable pricing, and see who should consider Blackbell for selling services.

Blackbell Review: Which Features Stand Out?

Blackbell Review

It’s tough to cover all of the features from Blackbell, but we’ll give it a whirl. To start, Blackbell provides a booking builder for your service website. This helps you manage your bookings and give customers a way to see which services are being offered. You simply load a prebuilt template and edit item colors and fonts. You can also upload images, customize your services, and translate content if needed.

Service Customization

You make money from services, so it’s essential to have powerful tools to show off all the details customers want to know. For instance,ย Blackbell allows for the creation of a pricing policy, and you can also customize the booking forms. Rules are also available for things like minimums, maximums, and mandatory fields.

Impressive Order Management

In the order management area, Blackbellย has a module for organizing orders and accepting online payments. You can also issue refunds if a customerย decides they don’t want the service. One of the reasons I really enjoy this area is because you can chat about the order with your users, giving customers the opportunity to ask questions and learn more.

There’s also an automated CRM for saving past orders on customer profiles. This helps with keeping track of your customers and opening up avenues for learning more about customers and giving out VIP promotions.

Finally, ratings and reviews can be shown for all services being sold. This serves as an effective way to boost conversions, and you can also figure out which services people don’t like.

Promote Your Offers

A big part of selling services is making offers to get people through your doors. Withย Blackbell, you have quite a few tools for promoting those offers. These include coupons, selling via marketplaces, an email campaign manager, and promo codes for influencer marketing.

Some Other Awesome Features

As I mentioned, the feature list from Blackbell is quite long. So, here are some of the other options available to you when signing up forย Blackbell:

  • Metrics for checking out visitors, revenues, and payments.
  • Multiple language support for back-office purposes.
  • A quick search in the back-office module.
  • A mobile app for managing your entire store and checking in on bookings.
  • A Javascript snippet to add Blackbell to any website.

Blackbell Review: Pricing

Blackbell claims that the service pays for itself with one order–and that’s absolutely true. The pricing from Blackbell is about as reasonable as you can get, with a 14-day free trial to test things out and no credit card required for that trial. You can also cancel your subscription at any time after you start paying.

Once you do continue with a subscription you’ll start to realize just how inexpensive it is. There are transaction fees, but those decrease as you scale up your business.

Here are the pricing plans to choose from:

  • Freelancer – $4 per month for one page and two services. There’s a 5% transaction fee.
  • Professional –ย $14 per month for five pages and 10 services. There’s a 4% transaction fee.
  • Business –ย $39 per month for 25 pages and 50 services. There’s a 3% transaction fee.
  • Marketplace –ย $99 per month for 125 pages and 250 services. There’s a 2% transaction fee.

If you’re trying to build a multi-vendor marketplace for your services then you’ll have to opt for the Marketplace plan. The pages are limited to 125, but that doesn’t mean there’s any limitation to the number of suppliers who sign up for your site. The vendor pages don’t count in the overall page count.

Keep in mind that the prices listed above are billed annually. That said, you won’t have to worry about any additional setup fees. The only payments are the monthly rates and the transaction fees.

Blackbell Review: Customer Support

Blackbell customer support is provided through email and an excellent documentation center, or knowledge base. You can search for advice and answers in the search bar, which then leads to all sorts of video tutorials, content management articles, tutorials, and FAQs.

The Blackbell team is also available through a live chat module on its website. I’m a huge fan of this since sometimes you can’t wait around for an email, but you also don’t have the time to search around the documentation.

It also looks like Blackbell has social presences on Facebook and LinkedIn, so you might be able to learn some things or contact them on those platforms.

Finally, signing up for a Blackbell account only takes a few minutes. After that, you’ll find an extensive tutorial with videos and tips, guiding you along the way and making sure you’re able to understand the entire system.

Should You Considerย Blackbell To Sell Services on Your Website?

Selling services online isn’t always the easiest task. With platforms like Shopify and WordPress you have to go out and find an app, and in my experience, they aren’t as affordable and powerful as Blackbell.

Blackbell focuses only on selling your services, and it doesn’t matter what you sell–lawyer services, personal training, speaking, cleaning, etc.

Overall, the pricing looks great and the features are strong. So, I would recommend Blackbell to anyone, or any business, trying to sell services online. After all, you can always test it out for 14 free days and decide after that.
