Sportshapes Quirkies feature 16 sport-themed cheese shapes, including a football, a cheering shape and a foam finger (£1.50).

The launch aims to build on the interest in cheese snacking in the UK, as the brand said children’s cheese snacking has grown 9% over the last 12-weeks.

The limited edition Strings & Things Yollies range (£1.75) features new pod designs inspired by different sports, to “help retailers drive excitement around key sporting tournaments this summer”

The brand said the Yollies range is continuing to see year-on-year growth, with consumer spending up 6%.

Both Sportshapes Quirkies and Yollies packs feature quizzes and challenges to help retailers target parents looking to “keep kids entertained this summer and drive sales ahead of the upcoming summer of sport”.

Victoria Southern, marketing and category director at brand owner Kerry Foods, said: We know parents are looking for snacks with health benefits but that are fun to keep kids entertained.

“Given the success of our previous limited-edition ranges we are confident both new launches are going to be a hit with both kids and their parents.”
