The trio were presented with limited-edition gold PlayStations by the people who scooped the big winnings after buying tickets at their stores.

Melissa Gales, store manager at Nicholsons in Stalham Green, Norfolk, was presented with her store’s gold PlayStation by Terry Falgate, who won £1m on EuroMillions in November last year.

Melissa said: “I’ve known Terry a few years now. He’s a regular in the store – so it’s incredible that I was the one who sold him his winning ticket. It’s really nice to have had a big winner here. The gold PlayStation will definitely make the store feel more lucky for our National Lottery players.”

Megan Rathbone, store assistant at the Anker Service Station in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, was presented with her store’s award by National Lottery winners Martin and Debbie Brandist who bought their £1m winning Lotto ticket at the shop in September 2019.

Praveen and Dency Ramankuty, husband and wife store managers at MFG Service Station in Ollerton, Nottinghamshire, were visited by winners Andrew and Paula Hancock who won £1m on a National Lottery scratchcard in July 2019.

Gold PlayStations are being awarded by Camelot to all stores that have sold £1m winning tickets where the prize winner has agreed to full or limited coverage of their win through publicity.

National Lottery players raise, on average, £30m each week for projects across the UK. Up to £600m of National Lottery funding is being used by charities and organisations affected by the coronavirus outbreak, including £300m to support the most vulnerable in communities.
