Clearspring adds to miso range

Clearspring has introduced two new organic Japanese misos which are made using traditional production methods.

Clearspring Organic Japanese Unpasteurised Reduced Salt Miso contains 25% less salt than Clearspring’s flagship Organic Brown Rice Miso, while delivering an authentic Japanese umami punch. The salt content has been reduced by blending a selection of premium quality miso pastes to achieve a rich flavour, while naturally reducing its salt content without the commonly used ethyl alcohol or other preservatives.

Clearspring Organic Japanese Unpasteurised White Miso is fermented for a shorter period of time compared to Brown Rice Miso to give a balanced sweet-savoury flavour.

The new additions, which are available in 270g glass jars, can be used to create a variety of dishes including soups, stews, casseroles, dressings or used as a seasoning or glaze.

The new misos will be available at Nisa, Spar, Costcutter, Londis, and Simply Fresh stores.
