Häagen-Dazs launches Duo range

Häagen-Dazs is set to launch a two-in-one ice-cream range to “drive category value by answering a consumer need for new and exciting consumption experiences”.

The Duo range will be available from the end of this month is three flavours – Belgian Chocolate & Vanilla Crunch, Dark Chocolate & Salted Caramel Crunch, and Belgian Chocolate & Strawberry –in 420ml tubs retailing at £4.99.

The brand said research shows that innovation is what 53% of luxury ice-cream shoppers are looking for.

Häagen-Dazs said retailers can expect to see the range deliver a sales uplift as 62% of consumers claim they would buy the flavours, driving incremental sales by upwards of 19%.

The new launch will be supported by a £3m media campaign and shopper marketing plan to introduce the product in convenience, wholesale, and grocery.
