Swizzels’ retailer competition taps into ‘big night in’ trend

Confectionery company Swizzels is running a “Big Night In” competition for convenience retailers.

Ten retailers could win £100-worth of free Swizzels stock when they purchase any three cases of selected sharing bags and retain their invoice or receipt.

These include Swizzels’ Great British Puds, Choos, and the Loadsa range.

To enter, retailers will need to text “swizzels” to 60777 and provide proof of purchase if contacted as a winner.

The competition closes midnight on 31st March 2021 and is being backed by a campaign across social media as “the ongoing pandemic ensures people continue to shop for products which they can share while spending time with the family indoors”.

The brand said hanging bags account for 54% of total sugar confectionery sales.
