Partners will be able to see what the new format has to offer, as well as have the opportunity to ask questions directly to Nisa’s format and development team.

Head of format at Nisa, Darren May, said: “We’re delighted that we’re finally going to be unveiling the new Nisa Express format to partners. It will obviously be a very different experience for them this year, but they will get a really good understanding of what it has to offer and we’re confident it will be well received.”

The virtual event will also include sessions led by the commercial teams at Co-op and Nisa.

In addition, a series of Category Talks sessions across the two days will focus on key categories, providing insights and advice to support retailers in growing these areas of their business.

Categories in the spotlight are Frozen, Meals and Beers, Wines, Spirits, as well as an in-depth look at the need to deliver value to shoppers through own label.

Events manager, Jenny Potts said: “We’d planned to introduce these sessions to Nisa Expo for the first time back in Spring for the event at Stoneleigh and partners responded really positively to them.

“Clearly we have had to make a lot of changes to the agenda to ensure it is appropriate for a virtual audience, but the online platform has made it possible to focus on additional key areas for retailers and so we’ll be sharing even more learning opportunities through the virtual expo.”

Delegates will be able to book onto the sessions ahead of time.
