Cra-Z-Art has partnered with The Toy Foundation (TTF) to provide approximately $250,000 in goods to children and families who have been directly impacted by the conflict in Ukraine. The retailer will donate premium markers, colored pencils, crayons, coloring books, activity kits and puzzles, and working with the foundation will ensure 100% of donations support emergency relief efforts in Ukraine and neighboring countries that are serving as safe havens for families seeking refuge from the ongoing conflict.
“Cra-Z-Art is very proud to have partnered with The Toy Foundation to help these families and kids in need,” said Lawrence Rosen, Cra-Z-Art Chairman in a statement. “It’s a great organization and we’re extremely proud to be in a position to help out. Hopefully, our donation of toys and art supplies will help spread some happiness among these children who are in such a tragic situation.”
The TTF mission has provided support around the globe to those who experience the stress of conflict and dire circumstances, donating a total of $225 million in toys to more than 26 million children and families since it began its mission in 2003. TTF has raised more than $2 million in cash and product donations since it began its relief effort to support Ukrainian children and families. This latest delivery of donations is scheduled to arrive within the next few weeks.
“The Toy Foundation works to offer aid and support to children in need, especially those who have been impacted by the recent life-altering and devastating events,” said Pamela Mastrota, Executive Director of TTF in a statement. “Thank you, Cra-Z-Art, for your incredibly generous contribution in support of the millions of children displaced by the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.”
