Airport retailers bank on travel taking off again

Retailers operating stores in airports are looking for a rebound over 2020’s lows as widespread access to COVID-19 vaccines makes consumers less fearful about traveling for business and pleasure. “What we expect is a resuming of travel, especially domestic and interregional travel” said Julián Díaz González, CEO at Dufry, a Swiss duty-free chain.
