Apple faces challenges moving production out of China

Apple saw its production and supply capacity hampered as a result of lockdowns in China this year. The technology giant is reported to be looking to shift some of its production capacity to other countries, such as India and Vietnam. A Wedbush Securities analyst said it would take until 2025 or 2026 for Apple to move the majority of its iPhone production out of China, and only so if it “moves aggressively.”
