Covent Garden’s Seven Dials is preparing to introduce several new brands, including the heritage candlemaker Trudon in its first UK bricks-and-mortar debut, the innovative piercing studio Metal Morphosis, and the expanded salon of hair specialists Hadley Yates.

Trudon, the renowned French candlemaker established in 1643, will open its doors in June. Known as the oldest candlemaker still active today, the brand will be located on Monmouth Street, joining other artisan and heritage brands such as Aesop, Kiehl’s, Le Labo, Miller Harris, Pierre Herme Paris, and ELEMIS. ELEMIS is also preparing to open its first independent London store in Seven Dials this spring. The Trudon boutique will offer customers the opportunity to personalise gifts and explore a variety of scents, including Orange Blossom, Moroccan Mint Tea, and Floral Garden.

Metal Morphosis is set to open its new concept studio on Earlham Street in April. This family-founded business, with a 30-year history, has earned a reputation for trusted piercing services and will now offer additional bespoke services such as fine line tattoos. The studio will host exclusive sessions with notable guest piercers and tattoo artists each month, enhancing its already robust service offerings.

Following its impressive performance in the Seven Dials neighbourhood, Hadley Yates has relocated and upsized its studio on Shelton Street. This move is in direct response to the growing demand and successful outcomes at the previous location. Hadley Yates Seven Dials, in collaboration with scalp specialists Act+Acre, remains the only UK studio to combine scalp health services with in-house treatments like colouring and cutting, catering to an expanding client base.
