Mattel generated $1.2 billion in sales from April through June, up from $1 billion for the same period in 2021. “We really shifted from being a manufacturing company that was making items to an I.P.-driven company that is managing franchises,” said Mattel CEO Ynon Kreiz. “Our company is now in growth mode.”
