Wendy’s Breakfast Menu Gets a New Breakfast Burrito

January 24, 2024

Wendy’s has expanded its breakfast menu. As of Monday, customers across the United States can enjoy a delicious new breakfast burrito at over 4,500 selected Wendy’s outlets.

This breakfast burrito isn’t your everyday wrap. It’s a hearty feast packed with the best components of Wendy’s breakfast offerings. Expect to bite into two freshly cracked eggs, six strips of oven-baked applewood smoked bacon, and seasoned breakfast potatoes. That’s not all, though. The burrito is also loaded with two slices of American cheese and topped off with a generous helping of Swiss cheese sauce.

Wendy’s introduced breakfast service to its menu in March 2020. Its last addition was an English muffin option in August 2023. However, this new burrito stands out not just for its wholesome ingredients but also its focus on fresh, in-store cooked bacon. This is a clear distinguishing factor from other fast-food chains like McDonald’s, which utilizes pre-cooked bacon that is simply re-heated before serving.

Finding the nearest Wendy’s to try out the new breakfast sensation is a breeze. Customers can easily locate a participating restaurant by visiting www.locations.wendys.com.

Beyond adding tasty items to the menu, Wendy’s has shown a commitment to ensuring the satisfaction of its customers. In a recent earnings call in November 2023, the company’s President and CEO Todd Penegor discussed Wendy’s achievements throughout 2023 and future plans.

Penegor emphasized on the success of unique items like the nacho cheeseburger and fries combo and the seasonal strawberry and pumpkin spice flavored Frosty’s. He also hinted at more “cravable” innovation and value deals to come.

The aim is to reward loyal customers while attracting new ones. The strategy includes offering consistent, compelling deals for breakfast, which has become a highly profitable time slot for the restaurant. With value for money being a key consideration for breakfast consumers, Penegor is confident that these initiatives will drive recurring visits to Wendy’s throughout the year and beyond.
