Petco

Petco, a leading pet retailer in the United States, is expanding its omnichannel retail solution to its stores in Latin America. The company is partnering with Infor, a leading provider of enterprise software, to implement a new retail management system that will enable Petco to provide a seamless shopping experience for its customers across all channels.

The new system will give Petco the ability to track inventory across its stores and online channels, and to provide real-time updates to customers about product availability. It will also allow Petco to offer personalized recommendations to customers based on their purchase history and browsing behavior.

“We are excited to partner with Infor to bring our omnichannel retail solution to Latin America,” said Ron Coughlin, CEO of Petco. “This new system will allow us to provide our customers with a seamless shopping experience, no matter how they choose to shop with us.”

The implementation of the new system is part of Petco’s broader strategy to expand its presence in Latin America. The company currently operates over 100 stores in the region, and plans to open an additional 50 stores over the next five years.

“We believe that the Latin American pet care market is poised for significant growth,” said Coughlin. “With the help of Infor, we are well-positioned to capitalize on this growth and become the leading pet retailer in the region.”
