JCPenney Goes Live with Backstreet Boys to Kick Off Feeding America Partnership

JCPenney will host an hour-long Facebook Live event on Dec. 1 at 8 p.m. ET featuring the Backstreet Boys performing songs from their first-ever Christmas album. Audience members tuning in to the JCP Live Holiday Spectacular will be eligible to receive prizes from the on-air advent calendar as well as the opportunity to win $50 JCPenney gift cards.

The livestream event also marks the beginning of JCPenney’s three-year partnership with Feeding America, which the retailer will kick off with a $50,000 donation to help address food insecurity in communities across the country.

In addition to performing, the Backstreet Boys will answer audience questions submitted in a live Q&A. The retailer will promote additional viewer interactivity by offering gifts every 10 minutes during the event to audience members who are engaging in the comments, with prizes including home goods, gift cards and more.

TV’s Naz Perez will host the special, which also will feature makeup artist Piper Nelson and 10-year-old TikTok dancing phenom Chase Castle. The band members will compete an obstacle course dressed as snowmen, learn dance steps from Castle and re-create the hottest seasonal makeup tutorials on their band mates.
