Barnes & Noble gets a boost as consumers buy printed books

Barnes & Noble has reported double-digit sales growth this year compared to 2019 and seen customers returning to its stores on Friday and Saturday nights to look for something to read. The retailer’s CEO, James Daunt, said the the company hasn’t experienced this level of growth since Amazon.com came on the scene and began selling books.
