Amazon makes slow progress with drone deliveries

Amazon.com has completed 100 drone deliveries in two small markets in California and Texas, well below its goal of 10,000 by the end of the year, as consumer adoption appears to be lagging. “I would love to see the drones flying around. I can’t wait,” said Ken Thomas, who co-owns a Lockwood, CA, deli. “I haven’t seen any yet. One guy said they had 14 customers signed up, which seems kind of low to me.”
