Mastercard: Retail Sales Up 7.6% During Holiday Season

U.S. retail sales excluding automotive increased 7.6% year-over-year for the period from Nov. 1 though Dec. 24, 2022, according to preliminary Mastercard SpendingPulse data. UPS yesterday was reporting service outages in 898 zip codes across Michigan, New York, Indiana and Ohio.
