Non-essential retailers to reopen today in NYC
June 8, 2020
New York City is allowing non-essential retail businesses to reopen today beginning with curbside and in-store pickup. Kim Capone Gallagher, who operates five Lu Bella Boutiques, in Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island, said someone reported her to the city because a line formed outside one of her stores. The police stopped by but did not ticket her and she has since made adjustments to handle curbside pickup safely. “I actually don’t mind it at all,” she said.
