Instacart Health promotes food as medicine
March 24, 2023
Instacart Health offers a suite of services that medical care providers can use to recommend foods to improve their patients’ nutrition. The new service will allow practitioners to prescribe food in the same way as medicine. Boston Children’s Hospital is among the first to use the service. “We believe we can leverage our technology, our platform, and our partnerships to help ensure more families have access to the nutritious food they need to live healthier lives,” said Dani Dudeck, Instacart’s chief corporate affairs officer.
