Temu sellers are now even copying product photos, descriptions, and entire Amazon storefronts, lawsuits allege
July 12, 2023
Amazon sellers have accused sellers on the ultra-cheap marketplace Temu of copying their product listings, leading to declining sales. Wired reports that Temu sellers have replicated product photos, descriptions, and keywords from original Amazon listings, often selling the products at lower prices. Requests to have the listings removed have reportedly been met with silence from Temu, and several lawsuits have been filed alleging copyright and trademark violations by Temu and its sellers.
