Consumers who feel it safe to leave their homes are not buying and playing video games to the sesame degree they were during the worst months of the novel coronavirus pandemic. “The new normal is better than prepandemic, but it’s also softer than we would’ve liked,” said Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick. “It’s a slower year.”
