Retail Industry Awards extends entry deadline

Retailers have extra time to submit their entries for the Retail Industry Awards, the sector’s most prestigious accolades run by Independent Retail News and TalkingRetail.com.

The entry deadline for the awards, which are now in their 26th year, has been extended to 11 June – apart from the Independent Retailer of the Year category.

Kim Reddick, commercial director of the awards, said: “We know how tirelessly retailers have worked throughout the pandemic and continue to rise to the challenges the ‘new normal’. To give retailers a little extra time to put the finishing touches to their entries, in what has been an unprecedented year of tests and achievements, we have decided to extend the deadline to the Retail Industry Awards 2021.

“We look forward to celebrating the successes and accomplishments of teams and individuals across the entire UK grocery sector.”
