Twitter will not prohibit tweets trolling transgender individuals

Twitter’s previous policy prohibited “repeated slurs, tropes or other content that intends to degrade or reinforce negative or harmful stereotypes about a protected category. This includes targeted misgendering or deadnaming of transgender individuals.” The social media company has removed the protection for transgender individuals in its updated policy, according to the Wayback Machine.
