H Mart To Launch Largest Northeast Food Hall at American Dream

H Mart, the country’s largest international supermarket chain, is set to open a new food court at the American Dream complex in the Meadowlands. Spanning 16,860 square feet, this will be the largest H Mart food hall in the Northeast.

“We are thrilled to introduce our latest food hall at American Dream. Our food halls are iconic staples of H Mart stores, and our American Dream location wouldn’t feel complete without one. The addition of another food hall will further enhance the world class, one-of-a-kind guest experience that is H Mart at American Dream.”

The food hall will feature 11 diverse food and drink vendors, offering a variety of cuisines and specialties:

  • BBQ Chicken: Known for its crispy and tender fried chicken with a variety of sauces.
  • Don Don Curry: Specializing in Japanese curry, takoyaki, tempura, and karaage.
  • Gold Miss: Featuring donuts, hot dogs, ice cream, frozen yogurt, and slush drinks.
  • Gong Cha: Providing premium tea, bubble tea, and coffee.
  • Jeong’s Noodle: Offering noodle, seafood, and chicken dishes.
  • K-Town Hero: Created by Michelin-star Chef Hooni Kim, offering bulgogi beef brisket, fried chicken, and gochujang pork belly.
  • Let Them Talk: Featuring daily happy hours with a selection of draft beers, craft cocktails, and Korean drinks.
  • Sang’s Tofu & Grill: Serving traditional Korean food by the founder of Midori Sushi and Sang’s Kitchen.
  • The Bao: Specializing in dim sum, noodles, and soup dumplings.
  • Tous les Jours: An artisan bakery with cakes, pastries, sandwiches, and handcrafted beverages.
  • Wok Bar: Allowing for customized meals with fresh ingredients.

H Mart, with over 100 stores across 18 states, continues to expand its presence, including locations in Cherry Hill, Edison, Fort Lee, Leonia, Little Ferry, Paramus, and Ridgefield in New Jersey.


The opening of this food hall is a significant addition to the American Dream complex, further establishing it as a premier destination for food enthusiasts in the region.

Although Dairy Manufacturers Inc. initiated a recall on May 24, 2024, due to non-compliance with FDA regulations, new findings of Cronobacter contamination have prompted further action.
