Spar Scotland to return to Scottish TV

Spar Scotland is launching on new advertising campaign on Scottish TV following the success of a campaign in January.

The new campaign, which will run from 14-27 September, will highlight a number of deals on key food and drink products available in Spar stores across Scotland. Promotions will focus on Chicago Town pizza, San Miguel lager, Doritos snacks, McVitie’s biscuits and Barr’s Irn Bru.

The campaign will be visible on three 20 second adverts running at peak viewing times on STV over a two week period.

Colin McLean, chief executive at CJ Lang and Son, said: “We are aware how financially tough it can be for many shoppers especially during these unprecedented times. Therefore we have worked with a number of well-known brands and negotiated market-leading deals for consumers. This investment demonstrates not only how Spar is there for shoppers but as a local convenience store we can also offer great value for money.”

Spar Scotland said products advertised on TV will be given visibility in prominent locations in-store.

Other media support includes digital, external advertising, Spar in-store radio, and PoS.
