Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice in Coventry provides specialist palliative care for babies and young children with life-limiting illnesses.

The hospice relies almost entirely on public donations to offer its services free of charge.

“We are incredibly grateful to Nisa Local Riley Square for their generous donation,” said Lara Taylerson-Whyte, corporate fundraiser for Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice Coventry.

“This donation will allow us to continue providing vital care to children and their families in our community.”

“I am delighted to support our local community in such a positive way,” said Himanshu Shah, owner of Nisa Local Riley Square in Coventry.

“Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice does incredible work, and we are proud to be able to help them continue their important mission.”

Zoe’s Place works to ensure that very unwell children can enjoy the best possible quality of life. Their nurse-led team delivers individualized, all-encompassing care to children and their families, helping them live life to its fullest.

It is almost entirely run on public donations, and it is thanks to support from the community that they can offer their services free of charge.

Kate Carroll, head of charity at Nisa, added: “This is such a worthwhile cause and I’m delighted Himanshu has chosen Zoe’s Place to receive such a sizeable donation.

“MADL gives independent retailers the opportunity to build a funding pot through sales of Co-op own brand products which is then used on super causes such as Zoe’s Place.”
