Hardys aims to boost Christmas sales with money back guarantee

Wine brand Hardys is running a money back guarantee across selected bottles for Christmas this year.

The guarantee is running across neck tags on selected Hardy’s 750ml bottles until 31 December and forms part of the brands “Certainty” campaign, which launched in March this year.

It is supported by in-store POS and online advertising.

Hardys said the guarantee taps into the “valuable” annual sales period, with 27% of the year’s wine sales occurring during the 12-week run up to Christmas, and “aims to help boost wine sales for retailers during this important period”.

Tom Smith, head of marketing at brand owner Accolade Wines, said: “Hardys has been a firm favourite amongst UK households for over a decade, and during these uncertain times it’s more important than ever to provide added reassurance to consumers for each and every purchase.”
