Royal Mail hails success of parcel collection service

Royal Mail says it has reached the milestone achievement of collecting more than one million items via its Parcel Collect service, which sees postmen and postwomen collect parcels from customer’s doors.

The company said use of the service, which launched in October 2020, accelerated during the festive period and following the reintroduction of lockdown measures.

Nick Landon, chief commercial officer at Royal Mail, said: “Parcel Collect is part of our commitment to continuously make our services more convenient for customers and makes it easier to use Royal Mail’s services than ever before.”
