To be eligible for the awards, products must have been launched between 1 April 2019 and 31 March 2020. This year saw 64 products nominated across nine categories, ranging from confectionery to alcohol, soft drinks to grocery.
The shortlist was published in Independent Retail News in July and the winners were chosen by our readers based on what products performed the best in-store or were the most innovative.
