The 5,000sq ft store, which will be situated in the car park at Kerridge Way, will open from 7am until 9pm on Monday to Saturday, and 10am until 4pm on Sunday.

The retailer anticipates that the temporary store will operate until a permanent replacement for the supermarket is built on the site of the former store, subject to planning permission.

Jane Gurney-Read, managing director for CT Baker Group, said: “The Budgens of Holt team are looking forward to welcoming back our customers who have shown us so much support in the months since we lost our store in such terrible circumstances.

“It has, without question, been a challenging year, but we are determined as a team to end it on a positive note and are looking forward to being at the heart of Holt’s community once more.”

Budgens of Holt’s home delivery service, which currently serves more than 110 customers per week, will continue to operate from the group’s Budgens of Aylsham store. Holt’s Post Office will remain situated at Bakers & Larners of Holt while the temporary store remains open.
