The limited edition papers will be available from July for its Gold Leaf 30g pouches (£12.80) until the end of September, featuring one of four carnival designs rotated throughout the launch period.
The click and close feature will be available for the 30g and 50g pouches (£21) and will “ensure the quality rolling tobacco blend stays fresher for longer”.
Chris Street, market manager at Imperial Tobacco, said: “Limited edition papers are often considered collectibles by roll-your-own customers, so we would recommend retailers stock up now while they can, to take advantage of the additional sales generated by these carnival themes designs.”
