The retailer is marking National Curry Week, which starts on Wednesday (7 October), by serving up “spicy offers” on food items. During the week-long promotion, it will be offering curry ingredients, including sauces, rice, naan bread and pappadums, at value prices.

Among the deals are two packs of Patak’s plain or garlic and coriander naan bread (£1.25), Patak’s 450g curry sauce jars (£1.25) and Tilda 250g rice pouches (£1).

Chris Walker, marketing operations manager at Nisa, said: “As consumers face varying

degrees of lockdown across the country it’s important that we continue to make the most of

events to give shoppers something to look forward to and get involved with.

“National Curry Week is a great opportunity for Nisa retailers to draw attention to the range

of products they have in their stores as well as the competitive prices they have to offer.”

Shoppers will also be able to find inspiration for home-cooked curries from recipes featured on the Nisa Locally website.
