The same day service enables consumers to select from around 4,000 products on Co-op’s online shop, which offers home delivery or click and collect slots in as little as two hours.

Products are selected and picked by the Co-op in Ramsey, which works as micro distribution hub.

A click-and-collect service is also available through the online shop.

The online delivery service travels up to 10.5km across the IM8 and part of the IM7 postal area, covering Ramsey and the North of the Island.

Andy Corrie, Co-op area manager, said: “This is an exciting year for our Co-op, marking 100 years since our first store opened here on the Isle of Man, we will see the launch of an online service for the first time and a new store opening later in the year. With our store colleagues locally carefully selecting the products the service really does compliment clicks and bricks – the Co-op has a proud past, and an exciting future as we continue to work to get closer to our members and customers.”

Jason Perry, Co-op head of online development, added: “Quality, ease and convenience is at the core of our approach and we continue to innovate and expand access to our products in order to offer greater flexibility and choice locally to meet the needs of our communities.”
