The event, which arrives in stores from tomorrow, will be supported by point of sale material in-store, as well as on Nisa’s social media pages, and on www.NisaLocally.co.uk.

A range of wines form part of the in-store deals available, including La Vieille Ferme Wine 75cl in white, red, and rosé variants at £6.50, and the new Co-op Irresistible Processo Rose 75cl at £7.50.

Also available in participating stores is a range of Co-op floral bouquets to suit all budgets: the Vibrant Bouquet at £5, the Novelty Bouquet at £8, and the Traditional Bouquet at £10.

A number of chocolate treats, including Lindt Lindor 200g and Ferrero Rocher 200g chocolate boxes, are available at just £4 each – saving consumers up to £1.99 off the RRP.

In addition, consumers can pick up a ‘Meal for Mum’ meal deal, which comprises a Co-op British Large Chicken, and a choice of three Co-op side dishes for just £8.

Last minute shoppers will also be able to get their hands on Nisa’s special gifting deal – which is available right up until the big day on 14 March – comprising a bottle of I Heart Gin 70cl and a choice of luxury chocolate box: Milk or Dark Thorntons Continental, Ferrero Rocher or Ferrero Rocher Collection, or Lindt Swiss Luxury Selection for just £20, saving shoppers up to £10 off the RRP.

Offline marketing lead at Nisa, Chris Walker, said: “Research shows that over half of shoppers are looking for a Mother’s Day gift to really treat their mum this year, and this year’s event provides our partners a raft of fantastic gifting options at different price points to suit all budgets.

“A third of shoppers do not have a particular gift in mind so will be actively on the lookout for gifting suggestions. And so, we’re encouraging Nisa partners to promote a good range of products for Mother’s Day and to utilise our point of sale material in a high footfall area of their store to really draw attention to what is on offer.”
