Co-op launches new Preston store

Co-op opened a new food store in Preston, Lancashire, on Friday (4 December) following a £635,000 investment.

The Garstang Road store runs on 100% renewable electricity and features customer car parking, an in-store bakery, and Seattle Coffee.

Stephen Biss, Co-op store manager, said: “We have had a great response – we are delighted to have had the opportunity to make such a significant investment in Preston and look forward to serving our community.

“The store has a great look and feel, and we have worked to develop the range, choice, products and services locally that will create a really compelling offer and enable the store team to serve the community quickly, easily, safely and, conveniently.”
