The guide’s publication, timed to coincide with the 70th anniversary of KP Nuts, provides up-to-date data and market trends as well as wide-ranging merchandising advice.

The guide highlights the strength of the nuts market, which is increasing in value at 13.8% more than the rest of the crisps, snacks and nuts category. The KP brand is also doing particularly well within the sector, growing at nearly 20%, the company says, more than the nuts market as a whole.

KP adds that selling the right products and formats is important and that half the sales in independent and symbol stores come from price-marked packs.

Matt Collins, trading director, KP Snacks says: “As we celebrate 70 years of KP, we are keeping our valued retail partners front of mind.

“We are proud to be using our expertise and category insight as a market leader to help retailers thrive in the segment, driving sales and category growth.”

Retailers can find the new nuts category guide on the SnacKPartners website
