Anne Hughes, a cleaner at Best One convenience store in Tonteg, Rhondda Cynon Taf, was hoisted several feet when her coat got caught on the shutter.
The store shared the footage on TikTok following the incident early on Monday morning.
“I’ll never hear the end of it,” she told the BBC, adding that she had not been injured.
