Tennent’s Light bottles are available in 12x300ml and 6x4x300ml cases.

The brand said each bottle contains 60 calories and has a 3.5% ABV, meaning “people can enjoy Scotland’s lowest calorie lager in the home for the first time”.

It said the beers are aimed at lager drinkers looking for lower calorie, lower ABV options.

Iain Telford, marketing services manager at Tennent’s, said: “As Scotland’s biggest beer brand, we recognised a growing consumer trend for ‘low and no’ alcohol options and combined it with our brewing knowledge, coupled with quality local produce to make the lowest calorie light lager on the market without compromising on the taste.”
