The company stocks 2,000 local products, from fresh fruit and veg to local meat and dairy, which it says are locally-sourced, sustainably delivered, and are offered at retail prices.

Kristof Van Beveren, co-founder and chief executive of Weezy, said: “At Weezy we believe there is a better way to shop, one that allows our customers to stay at home, break free from the shopping list, and receive high quality produce swiftly and delivered with care.”

In addition, the company is introducing a new offer on 19 March – delivery within 15 minutes or free deliveries for three months – across all of its locations. The offer will be available until 31 March.

Van Beveren added: “We want our customers to live life on their terms, knowing that Weezy has got them covered. Life is complicated but Weezy isn’t, pop the kettle on and we will be there in 15.”

Customers can download the Weezy app on the App Store and Google Play.
