The Welsh government confirmed that it is making an additional £150m available to support businesses affected by ongoing restrictions.
First minister Mark Drakeford said that the easing of rules in Wales was the start of a “phased approach” out of lockdown.
ACS chief executive, James Lowman, said: “We welcome the Welsh government’s decision to allow essential retailers to once again provide its full range of products to consumers. This will avoid confusion and possible confrontation in stores.”
