Inverness petrol station joins Spar

Spar Scotland has added a new store in the north of the country.

Blackpark Filling Station, near Inverness, is a 1,000sq ft licensed forecourt with a food-to-go area that offers hot food, freshly prepared sandwiches, baguettes, and salads. Other products include Costa Express, Whippy ice-cream, the National Lottery, a car wash, and Calor gas services.

In addition, the conversion of the site to a Spar forecourt has seen the introduction of F’real and Blue Ice Slush machine. A new chiller has also been installed extending the in-store chilled foods range.

Retailer Shyam Karthikeyan also owns Ord Filling Station at Muir of Ord, about 12m north of Inverness, which will become a Spar outlet shortly.
