Ritter Sport expands nut range with cashew variant and new pack design

Chocolate brand Ritter Sport has launched a new pack design and variant for its Nut Selection range.

A 100g Milk Chocolate Cashew variant joins the range, consisting of salted and roasted cashew nuts in milk chocolate (£1.50).

The brand said nut chocolate bars account for 22% of the total block chocolate market are growing at 17% year on year.

It said nut is the second largest flavour category in total chocolate confectionery, with sales of more than £117m and growing at 13% year on year.

The new pack design is running across the entire Nut Selection range and is rolling out this month, featuring a “natural and premium looking” matte foil, more visible ingredients, and a bigger logo.
