Cadbury celebrates 50th anniversary with Golden Goobilee campaign

Cadbury is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its Crème Egg with the launch of a new Golden Goobilee campaign, following the return of Cadbury Creme Eggs return to stores.

The campaign consists of a 60-second advert “celebrating the different ways Cadbury Creme Egg shoppers have enjoyed their favourite Easter treat for the past 50 years – whether they are a licker, dipper, baker, ‘eggspert’, ‘discreater’ or sharer”.

The advert is supported by social and digital activity, including the launch of a Mondelēz on Tik Tok.

Cadbury is also launching a golden Cadbury Crème Egg, giving consumers a chance to win up to £5,000 throughout Easter by finding one of 30 golden eggs in convenience stores.

When a shopper finds a winning egg, the retailer also has the chance to win a variety of cash prizes or Amazon vouchers up to £1,000.

To participate, retailers must use Cadbury promotional display material, which can be downloaded from Delicious Display.
