Spar wholesaler refreshes sandwich range

James Hall & Co, Spar wholesaler for the north of England, has revamped its own-brand sandwich offering, with refreshed packaging and three new flavours.

The added flavours are: Simply Bacon, Mega Breakfast and Mixed Triple – a variety of bacon, chicken and ham sandwiches.

Peter Dodding, sales and marketing director at James Hall & Co, said: “We have refreshed the packaging of 20 Spar brand sandwiches, helping customer favourites to stand out on the shelf, create theatre in-store and complement our existing range of food-to-go items.

He added: “A selection of 12 sandwiches will also be available for Spar retailers to order on three-week cycles. Each cycle will include four delicious flavours, which will then be replaced with another four once the period has finished. The first wave of flavours available will be Simply Chicken and Sweetcorn; Smoked Ham and Egg Sub; Spicy Cheese and Coleslaw and Curried Egg.”

The sandwiches have a range of price points between £1.75 and £2.95.
