The Jones Convenience Store is located on a substantial corner plot and benefits from a good residential catchment area, with the Mendip District Council Office also close by.

Previous owner, L&F Jones, decided to sell the store in order to focus on its hospitality business at the Best Western Plus Centurion Hotel in Radstock, Somerset.

Solanki, who also owns Burnaby stores in Whitchurch, Shropshire, said: “We are planning for the business to have a total refit and join the Premier symbol group. Good luck to L&F Jones with their future plans.”

Jamie Williams, business agent at Christie & Co, added: “The store attracted five offers after twelve viewings, which demonstrates the high demand the market is currently experiencing for stores turning over under £10,000 per week if they are accurately priced.

“As the market continues to improve, with more and more buyers available after strong sales at already owned stores throughout Covid-19, now is an excellent time to sell your business if you are considering it.”
