Funkin rolls out price-marked format for Nitro Cocktails range

Funkin Cocktails has launched a range of price-marked packs for its ready-to-drink Nitro Cocktail Cans.

The range retails at £1.99 and are available in Passion Fruit Martini, Pina Colada and Strawberry Daiquiri flavours.

The format “leverages the popularity” of the nitro-infused range, whilst also capitalising on impulse-driven spending amongst consumers who are “seeking spontaneous drinking occasions”.

The launch is supported as part of a £1m advertising campaign for the brand.

Ben Anderson, Funkin’s marketing director, said: “Since the lockdown restrictions, we have noticed that there has been a rise in consumers shopping more locally at convenience stores and wanting to re-create bar-worthy concoctions at home.

“Also, due to the economic impact of the pandemic, consumers are also searching out value products which is where our new price marked pack range demonstrates clear value to consumers who are perhaps watching their spending more closely at the moment.”
