Trading as The Dales Market Square, the former Spar/Budgens store in Grassington’s High Street is now trading with an improvement plan under way.

The new store will be operated on a day-to-day basis by Stacey Brookes, who already manages the daily running of the Pateley Bridge store.

Brookes said: “We will be offering our new customers a full range of Co-op own-brand products, which have been really well received in our Pateley Bridge store.

“Over the next three months we will be extending the internal sales area of the shop, making it more spacious for shoppers, easier to navigate and a more comfortable space to use in the years ahead.”
