Clearspring adds two flavours to updated rice cakes range

Organic fine foods brand Clearspring has updated its Organic Brown Rice Cakes range, along with two new variants.

The range consists of existing variants 7 Super Seeds, Buckwheat & Amaranth, and Quinoa & Chia (£1.49 each), and new No Added Salt and Lightly Salted variants (£1.39 each).

The brand said the rice cakes are now larger and crunchier and tap into the consumer trend for healthier and free-from snacking options.

It said the entire rice cake range is gluten free, non-GMO, free from artificial ingredients, suitable for vegans, and contains no added sugar.

According to Nielsen data, organic product saw a 9.5% increase in sales to October 2020, compared with a 6.6% increase in non-organic food sales.
