The Shopkeepers’ Campaign encourages supporters to lobby their MPs to take action, calling for a substantial cut in business rates to save local shops, protect jobs, and support communities.

ShopAppy.com has opened a short survey for local business owners to provide their thoughts and is encouraging retailers to support The Shopkeepers’ Campaign and lobby MPs by visiting www.savelocalshops.eaction.online/savelocalshops.

Vivienne King, of The Shopkeepers’ Campaign, said: “We know that many big retailers and landlords are concerned about rates and the impact of these on the vitality of our towns. ShopAppy’s insights on this issue from their own growing local business community demonstrate that this is an issue that needs to be addressed quickly.”

She added: “We know that many big retailers and landlords are concerned about rates and the impact of these on the vitality of our towns. ShopAppy’s insights on this issue from their own growing local business community demonstrate that this is an issue that needs to be addressed quickly.”
